BASIC TIPS TO MOTIVATE EMPLOYEES

TREAT WITH CARE YOUR GREATEST RESOURCE - People are your assets. Even with the best high tech equipment available, without the people , there's no business. Treat them on same level or even greater than you care your equipment.

LISTEN TO YOUR EMPLOYEES - It doen't make quite a sense for an organizations to spend considerable time and effort to hire the best but later on ignoring their input. Listening and responding to them will motivates and inspire them further.

GET EMPLOYEES INVOLVEMENT - Gives them oppurtunity to participate in discussion , make their view known though management still make the final decisions.

KEEP EMPLOYEES INFORM OF OBJECTIVES - People should not be kept in the dark. Provide clear personal goals and objectives, what is supposed to be done.

ENCOURAGE INNOVATION - Ensure employee of that their employment is secure. People tend to get uneasy of any uncertainties within the company and limits innovative ideas.

DON'T BE A DEMOTIVATOR - A leader keep people motivated and works towards common goal. Demeaning words, dismissively telling their ideas as 'stupid', erodes their motivations. Watch your own actions and don't let these defeats your own efforts in motivating.

KEEP YOUR EMPLOYEE FLAME ALIVE - People are all fired up and ready to do things when they take up employment with your company. But, these enthusiasm wear down over time. You should fan these flame again and renewed their enthusiasm towards the company.

CREATING A MOTIVATING WORK ENVIRONMENT - Leaders who can't motivate their people directly, should and must create a workplace that is very motivating. Identify factors and ensure work environment supports them.
